Meet Jonathan, the 189-year-old big tortoise who holds the document for the world’s largest residing terrestrial mammal.
Jonathan is alleged to have been dropped at the island of St. Helena round 1832.

Because it takes a big tortoise about half a century to develop up, it’s believed that he was born round 1832.
